Linda Susan Bass Gore, 72, passed away on June 3, 2021 at her residence. Linda was born in Pelham, Ga and graduated from Pelham High School. She retired from City Hall of Sylvester in 2016 after many years of service. Linda also worked at RIO, Lykes Brothers, Gibsons Department Store and Kitty's Flea Market creating a large group of adopted family and friends.

Ms. Gore was Baptist in faith and enjoyed many hobbies including spending time with family and yard work. She will be remembered for her giving heart and warm nature.

She is survived by her son William (Julie) Gore, daughter Amanda Gore, granddaughter Briana Gore, her siblings Deloris Curles, Dorothy Libby, Faye Sealy, and Debra Godwin. She was predeceased by her parents Loys Pearl Bass and Audrey Pearl Bass, her sister Sandra Bishop, and her brother Kenneth Bass.

A celebration of her life was held on Saturday June 5th from 11 am until 4 pm. With her birthday being July 4th guests were invited to participate in the patriotic themed memorial by wearing red, white and blue and sharing photos and memories of Linda.
