Norma Louise Steele of Ellsworth, WI passed away peacefully on December 20th, 2020 at the age of 84. Norma was born to Archie and Alice Welty on April 18th, 1936 in Red Wing, Minnesota.

After graduating from Zumbrota High School class of 1954, she to marry Francis L. Kreig, where they had two sons, Tony and Herman Kreig. In her career, she was a known hard worker who retired from Intek Plastics in Hastings, MN. She went into her retirement doing the things she enjoyed, such as: baking, latch hook, going for walks, watching birds and beating her family at Yahtzee. She was an avid Vikings fan, and received great enjoyment from playing the piano. Most of all, Norma enjoyed being a grandmother, spending time with her family and partner Jerry Kinneman. She will be remembered fondly as one who was there to give helpful advice, and a listening ear. Norma was known for always being happy, having a smile on her face, as well as her kind and loving personality. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Alice Welty; brother, Glenn Welty; sisters, Jenny Johnson and Inez Hauschildt.

She is survived by longtime friend and partner, Jerry Kinneman of Hager City, WI; her sister, Patricia Lunde of Brandon, SD; brother, John Anderson of Hastings, MN; her children, Tony (Christine) Kreig of Camp Verde, AZ and Herman (Jessica) Kreig of Bay City, WI; her grandchildren, Cassandra Kreig of Spring Hill, FL and Taliyah Kuharski of Eagan, MN; former husband, Marvin Steele of AZ; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
