Inez's family later moved to Red Wing, MN. On 2 Sep 1950 Inez married Morley Raymond Hauschildt in Ellsworth, WI. They lived in Rural Ellsworth until 1957 when they moved to a farm, near Wanamingo, MN and she worked at Kidsdud in Cannon Falls, MN. In 1967, they moved to Lake City, MN, and farmed there until 1973 when they moved to Oak Center. In 1979 they moved to St. Peter, MN, where she worked at St. Peter Nursing Home until moving to Lake Norden, SD in 1983.
Survivors include her husband, Morley of Lake Norden; five children, Steven (Rose)Hauschildt of Milleville, MN, Loren (Gayle) Hauschildt of Plainview, MN, Roger (Lora) Hauschildt of Coon Rapids, MN, Robert (Theresa) Hauschildt and Joyce Anderson, both of Lake Norden, SD; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Patricia (Burnell) Lunde of Wanamingo, MN, Genevieve Johnson of Ellsworth, WI, and Norma (Marvin) Steele of Hager City, WI; two brothers, Glen (Jeanette) Welty of Ellsworth, WI, and John Anderson of Hastings, MN.She was preceded in death by infant daughter Wendy.
