Eulalia Frances Hinton, age 94, of Maysville, WV passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at her home. She was born October 30, 1926 in Maysville, WV and was the daughter of the late Charles Roosevelt Burgess and Ethel Christina (Mongold) Burgess.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas William Lee Hinton Sr in 2000; her son, Thomas William Lee Hinton, Jr. and her brother, Ronald Burgess.
Frances is survived by her little man, "Harley" her dog; daughter-in-law, Susan Hinton of Oakland, MD; two grandchildren, David Hinton and Sarah Hinton DeValk and husband Matthew of Cumberland, MD; four great grandchildren, Joseph, Arabella, Tatianna and Gideon; three sisters, Goldie Berg of Maysville, WV, Jean Cloer of North Carolina and Judy Kimble of Lahmansville, WV; and one brother, Donald Burgess of Maysville, WV and several nieces and nephews.
Frances was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, baking, her flower garden and bird watching.
Funeral service will be Monday, May 31, 2021 at 12 Noon in the Chapel of the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg with the Rev. Larry Hakes officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 till time of service at Noon.
Interment will be in Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV.
