Rosie Lee Beckort, 95, of Rockport, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Miller's Merry Manor in Rockport.
Rosie was born in rural Spencer County Indiana on May 1, 1926 to the late Charles and Katie (Gebhard) Beckort.
She was a graduate of Rockport High School and was a member of Larkin Baptist Church, where she served as Treasurer for many years. She also worked at Lincoln Hills Development Corporation for many years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Helen Miller Ewin, Alma Beckort Crosley, John Beckort, Bill Beckort, Herman Beckort, Maggie Beckort Pekinpaugh, Clara Beckort, and Mazel Beckort.
Rosie is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services are 4 P.M. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana with Pastor Paul Gatewood officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is 2 P.M. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
