Born Saturday, November 20, 1943 in Kosciusko, Mississippi, she was preceded in death by her mother, Dora Bell Brock and father, Percy Guy Brock; husband, Jamie Hunt; daughter, Cynthia Howard; brothers, Garner, Percy, Jr, and Richard Brock; sisters, Jeanelle Rowell, Mary Ainsworth, Waulene Belk and Nina Lishman; grandchildren, Shaun Howard, James Thacker,
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Cammie Sue Branch of Denton, TX. ; daughter, Susan Thacker, Olla, LA,; grandchildren, Juan (Tooter) Thacker, Jr., Brandon Oakes, Serena Travis, Joshua Thacker, Lisa Rials; 12 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Hunt was a member of Summerville Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, family night and especially her grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Summerville Baptist Church, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Summerville Baptist Church with Revs. Jesse Henderson and Glenn Roark officiating.
Interment will follow in the Thacker Family Cemetery, in Summerville.
