Jonathan Newcomer Passes Away At 67
Jonathan Franklin Newcomer, 67, of Pipe Creek, died suddenly yesterday morning at the home of his sister, Mrs. Albert H. Rotge, who lives at 1402 Broadway here in Kerrville. He had been here only one day.
Newcomer was a life-long resident of Pipe Creek. He had been a carpenter and farmer.
Funeral sevices will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 from the Plummer Funeral Home in Bandera. Rev. David L. Stewart of the First Methodist Church of Bandera will officiate. Interment will follow in the Pipe Creek Cemetery.
He is survived by one son, Roy L. Newcomer of Fort Worth, and three sisters: Mrs. Albert H. Rotge of Kerrville, Miss Mable Newcomer of Pipe Creek, and Mrs. Sylvian Odom of Boerne.
