Geraldine B. Reese, age 69, of Walcott, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021, surrounded by her family at her home in Walcott.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation. All who plan to attend the services are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing within groups. Memorials may be given to the Walcott Volunteer Fire Department in her memory.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, at Bentley Funeral Home in Durant. Private family graveside services will be in the Walcott Cemetery, Walcott, Iowa.

Geraldine Betty Kraft was born December 13, 1951, in Davenport, the daughter of Roman and Ruth (Martens) Kraft. She graduated from Davenport Central High School with the Class of 1970. She married Robert Lee Einfeldt Jr., on June 13, 1970, in Wilton. Robert preceded her in death on July 13, 1971. She married Jeffrey L. Reese on August 24, 2013, in Walcott. She worked as a manager at the Pilot Travel Center in Walcott. She enjoyed camping and taking road trips on their Harley, especially to Door County, Wisconsin and hanging out and spending time with her friends. Above all, she loved the time she spent with her family.

Surviving are her husband, Jeffrey Reese; two daughters, Lisa (William) Conway of Pleasant Valley and Kayla (Thomas) Sweeney of Walcott; one son, Jason (Crystal) Reese of Blue Grass; eight grandchildren, Sierra (Nolan) Herlocker, Alyssa (Alex) Osborn, Savannah and Garrett and Amber and Lanie Sweeney and Conner and Roman Reese; one great-grandson, William Herlocker; one sister, Marilyn Bennett; two brothers, Robert Kraft and Allen (Sally) Kraft; one brother-in-law, Jim (Melinda) Reese; her in-laws, Delbert and Sandra Reese; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceding her in death are her parents, her first husband, one brother, David Kraft and one brother-in-law, William Einfeldt.
