Funeral services for Ira Edward howser, 63. Chandler resident, were Nov. 6. 1970 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. James Fleming, pastor of the Assembly of God Church, officiated. Inteerment was in Oak park Cemetery, with the chandler Funder Home directing service arrangement. Mr. howser died Nov. 3, 1970, of an apparent heart attack while hunting near Chandler Lake. Born May 7, 1907, he was the son of William and Mary Howser. he married Sarah Pounds on Oct. 21, 1943, and the couple lived in the Chandler area since. Mr. Howser was a machinist and mechanic, and an avid outdoorsman. He was a member of Chandler's American Legion Post #64, having served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. Survivors include his wife Sarah, one son, both of the home, one brother, Bryan Howser of Chandler, one sister, Mrs. Fairfax Evans os Cortez, CO.
