Obituary: Graveside services were held Oct. 19, 2004 at Oak Park Cemetery with Rev. Roy Hayes officiating, for Jennings Bryan Howser Sr. of Chandler. Services were under the direction of Browns Funeral Parlor of Wellston.

Howser was born Aug. 27, 1908 in Chandler to William and Mary Howser (Haley) and died Oct. 13, 2004 in Oklahoma City at the age of 96. He was a man of many trades. He was a volunteer firefighter, taxidermist, lay minister and a longtime barber for the Town of Chandler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two spouses and one brother. Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-laws, Eddie and Iris Green of Chandler; J.B. Jr. and Sondra Howser of Oklahoma City; one sister, Fairfax Evans of Cortez, Colo.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; on great-great-grandchild; and a host of other family and friends.
