Mary "Polly" Stovall was the daughter of Mary Hicks and Josiah Stovall.
Mary first married William Richard Ratcliff.
Mary and William were the parents of Lucy Stovall Ratliff Durham Jameson and John Stovall Ratliff.
Lucy Stovall's first husband was Singleton Durham and her 2nd marriage to William D Jameson.
Polly Stovall Ratliff second married was to her first cousin Stephen Stovall. The Stovall's were the parents of Josiah Joseph Stovall.

Mary "Polly" was not mentioned in the lawsuit brought by Polly's brother Drury against their father Joshua Stovall's estate on 23 June 1834.
Rather Polly's children were mentioned as heirs:
Mississippi Will and Probate Tecords, 1780-1982 Hinds County Old Series Estate, 141-182 1833-1836
"John Ratliff, Singleton Durham and Lucy his wife in the state of Alabama and Josiah Stovall in Columbia County, Georgia, heirs of Polly Stovall Ratliff Stovall deceased."

Mary's burial site is now Lake Strom Thurman Lake / Clark Hill Dam. Covering 71,000 of Georgia's surface acres south of the South Carolina border.
