Ethel Altice (Kelley)
Monday, November 30th, 1925 - Monday, March 29th, 2021

Early on the morning of March 29, 2021, God saw fit according to his good
and perfect timing to call his servant and our loving mother, Ethel Kelley
Altice, home. Ethel was 95 and is survived by two sons, Perry (Chuck)
Altice and his wife Robyn and Dan Altice and his wife Jackie and three
grandchildren, Kelley, Nathan, and Chad. Also surviving are three great
grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins who were all dear
to her. Ethel was the loving widow of the late Perry W. Altice to whom she
was married for over 64 years prior to his death in 2013. She was the last
surviving child of Dennis A. and Ruby E. Kelley. Eight siblings predeceased
her. Ethel loved her family.
Ethel was a faithful member of Shenandoah Baptist Church since its
establishment and enjoyed a close personal relationship with her Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ. For the last four years she was a resident of Salem
Terrace Assisted Living. It is with full and grateful hearts that the family
wishes to acknowledge the wonderful care extended to our mother by the
staffs of Salem Terrace and Good Samaritan Hospice. We are forever
grateful.
A graveside service of remembrance will be held at Cedar Lawn Memorial
Park, Roanoke, Va. at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 1, 2021 with her sons
presiding. The family requests that no flowers be sent. Instead, please
make a donation in her honor to Shenandoah Baptist Church or your own
church.
