John Frank Gohn, age 66, of 744 Blaine avenue, died at 12:45 o'clock Thursday afternoon in his residence. Death followed an illness of one year and five months.

Born in North Liberty, this county, Sept. 25, 1866 he came here 25 years, ago. He was married Feb. 17, 1908, to Miss Josephine Rodgers, who survives. He was a carpenter by trade.

Surviving besides the widow are two daughters, Mrs. H. S. Mitze, of Spokane, Wash. and Mrs. Don Allshouse, of Erie, Pa.; two sons, Myron L. Gohn, of Shelby, Mont., and Clarence E. Gohn of South Bend; and one brother, Thomas J; Gohn, this city.

The body will lie in the William R. Miller mortuary and the funeral will take place at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the Star church, North Liberty. Rev. Mr. Snodgrass, pastor, will read the service and burial will be in Porter cemetery.
