Harold Martin Werts, 67, of Marianna, Florida, died Sunday, July 22, 2001. He's buried at Riverside Cemetery in Marianna.
A native of St. Edward, Neb., he was a longtime resident of Jackson County. He retired from the Army after more than 22 years and from Unimac after more than 20 years.
He was Roman Catholic.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lipford Werts of Marianna; three sons, Larry M. Werts of Orlando, Billy Joe Werts of Ozark, Ala., Ronnie W. Werts of Orlando; three daughters, Jennell Hoskins of Panama City, Sally Ray of Grand Ridge and Diane Tyus of Jacksonville; two brothers, Allen Werts and Keith Werts; a sister, JoAnn Mahoney; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
