Arnold L. "Arnie" Allamand, 73, of Scotch Grove, Iowa, passed away March 8, 2021, at Mercy Medical Center, Iowa City, Iowa.
Arnold was born September 24, 1947 in Anamosa, Iowa the son of Lawrence and Emma (Joslin) Allamand.
Arnie served in the US Army from 1966-1968 in the Vietnam War.
He then worked many years in construction until retirement.
He married Mary Bonert on February 8, 1969, at St. Paul Catholic Church,Worthington, Iowa.
He is preceded in death by his son, Mark Allamand; his parents; parents-in-law, Leo and Rita Bonert; siblings: Mary, Polly, Pamalea, Lenny , Larry, Donna, and Everett; in-laws: Betty (Frosty) Smith, Carl Bonert, Jerome Bonert; a nephew, Cory Bonert.
