They say a man's worth is measured by his wealth. Raymond Alexander Hickok leaves this world as the richest man ever born. Not of money, but because he was loved by all who knew him. Among his proudest moments, Ray was baptized in February 1959 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He also was awarded his GED. In addition to farming, Ray engaged in hauling milk for local farmers, worked at a local factory, and drove a bus for the Troy Area School District for over 30 years. Ray believed in a simple lifestyle, giving priority to family, friends, and the worship of God. His recreation included spending time playing cards with family and friends, hunting, making maple syrup, and playing with his dog, Frankie.
