Mrs. Baker of Waelder dies Tuesday night
Mrs. E.N. Baker, mother of County Treasurer Curtis Baker and sister of J.D McVea, died at her home in Waelder Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. She had been ill about a week.
Funeral rites were held at Saturn Wednesday afternoon, La Grange funeral home in charge. She was 82.
Mrs. Baker was before her marriage Rebecca Anne McVea. To her union with E.N. Baker were born five children, one of whom is deceased. Her husband three sons and a daughter survive.
