Born Ronald Howard Earle Clayson, he was the son of Reginald Charles Clayson and Ellen Marion Early, husband of Euphemia McGregor Blue, whom he married on June 9, 1951 in the Rosemont First United Church, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and beloved father of Deborah, Cameron and Corey, grandfather of six, brother to Joanne, and beloved uncle.

Curriculum vitae (more or less) - He was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on July 26, 1927, attended Rosemont Elementary School in that city, and received a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University in 1949. He spent the great majority of his career with the B. F. Goodrich Chemical Company in the Engineering and Production of vinyl chloride and polyvinyl chloride, retiring in January 1996. He then spent his time in various volunteering activities and spent eleven years assisting his niece in a genealogical search for the family ancestors (for which she is eternally grateful).
