Leonard Glenn Knapp, 65, route two Milton, died Monday, Oct. 23, at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison.


He was born on June 27, 1930, in Deaton, Mich., the son of Martin and Ethel Knapp, who both preceded him in death.


He had worked at Ford Motor Company's Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, and as a state corrections officer.


He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1969 in Madison. He was also a member of the Lutheran Church in Michigan.


Survivors include: his wife, Marianne Tingle Knapp; one daughter, Anagrett Hamilton of Maple Grove, Minn.; one son, Steven Knapp, of Alexandria, Va.; two stepdaughters, Julia Alley of Milton and Donna Talbot of LaGrange, Ky.; one stepson, John Talbott III of LaGrange; two sisters, Irene Evans of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Margaret Hartman of Marcellus, Mich.; one brother, Orson Knapp of Kalamazoon; and 12 grandchildren.


He was also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.


Services will be at 11 a.m. EDT Thursday at the Wood-Oakley Funeral Home in Milton, with burial in the Moffett Cemetery.


Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-9 p.m. EDT Wednesday and from 9 a.m. EDT until time of service on Thursday.
