Margaret J. Hartman, 87, of Marcellus, passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 in Three Rivers.

She was born Feb. 9, 1926 in Decatur, the daughter of Martin W. and Eathel M. (Ballett) Knapp. On May 15, 1943 in Three Rivers she married William F. Hartman who preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 2004.

She lived at her present residence on Hoffman Road for over 63 years. She was a Christian lady who enjoyed reading the Bible, Church and her family.

Surviving are one daughter, Jeanette Conde of Kalamazoo; two sons, William C. (Carol) Hartman of Marcellus and David (Wendy) Hartman of Waterford; one sister, Irene Evans of Comstock; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.

Private graveside services were held Monday, Feb. 18 in Poe's Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Southwest Michigan.

Arrangements were handled by the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, Marcellus.
