Mary Ann attended schools in Lyons Colorado, then Business School in Denver. Later, she went on to Arapahoe Community College and Metropolitan Denver University attaining a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Then she did Oil & Gas Accounting for an oil company in Denver. When that oil company slowed down in work, she moved to doing accounting other types of businesses until she retired. She always had a knack for arts and pursued some art, but expanded her skills in the pottery art.
About two years ago, Mary Ann started downhill while fighting a silent killer. It finally took her away on her 81st birthday with her family at her side. By her own words, she did not want a funeral service. Therefore, she will be placed at Fort Logan National Cemetery soon, where her husband has planned his future final rest.
