Memorial services for Nancy Ruth Purdy age 83 of Branson, Missouri will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson with Pastor Wayne Richards officiating.

Mrs. Purdy passed away on July 26, 2016 at her home in Branson.

She was born October 20, 1932 in Afton, Michigan the daughter of Gilbert Jason and Nellie Katherine Point Clemens. Nancy married Donald D. Purdy on Feb 24, 1955 at the home of Lester & Thelma (Miller - Purdy) Dean in Evansdale, IA. She was a retired nurse and had been a member of the Charles City First Wesleyan Church, Charles City, Iowa, Lakeview Wesleyan Church in Marion, Indiana and the First Nazarene Church in Shelbyville, Indiana before moving to Branson.

Survivors are her five children; Jonathan Alan Purdy of Lima, Ohio, David Aaron Purdy of Shelbyville, Kentucky, Debra Janisse Jones of Branson, Missouri, Tamara Melanie Richards of McCordville, Indiana, and Sandra "Shane" Lynnette Turpen of Branson, Missouri. Siblings Cozette McNamee and Katherine Asenath Nelson. Nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald Dean Purdy and siblings, Gilbert (Buddy) Clemens and Zoe Skeel.
