There are more then eight unidentified headstones in the Brashears Family Cemetery in Brock, Parker, Texas, USA. I believe that it is most likely that Alexander was buried here after dying of consumption during the Civil War. He enlisted at Weatherford, Texas on 19 Jul 1862. His record shows he had been absent without leave since June 25, 1863. He must have been sick and returned home to Parker County where he died at the age of 29.
His wife, my 2nd GG Grandmother, was Nancy R. Crenshaw - daughter of John Owen Crenshaw, Jr. and Rebecca Jane Harless Crenshaw. They were married in c1859 most likely in Parker County, Texas, USA.
