A daughter of Albert and Elizabeth Rath Ernst, she was born in Dunlap July 30, 1888. Her first marriage was in July 1916, to Walter Holtke, who died in 1918. Later she was married to Richard M. Geef in Peoria November 7, 1936. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, the Mothers Club of the parish, the Army Mothers, the Royal Neighbors Lodge and the Daughters of Isabella.
Surviving are her husband, one son, two stepsons, two grandchildren, one brother and five sisters, including Mrs. Philomena Ernst of Edelstein.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Wright & Salmon Mortuary. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery in Dunlap.
