Ethel M. Smith, 83, of rural Edelstein died Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born Nov. 8, 1916, in Alta, to Fred and Ida Harker Campbell, she married Walter S. Smith on Jan. 19, 1935, in Walnut Grove. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Judy Mrazek of rural Edelstein; and one sister, Marian Linder of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Cremation has been accorded, and there will be a private memorial service.
