James Harlan Trent, 48 years old of Weldon, Kentucky died November 21, 1920 after a weeks illness from typhoid fever at his residence. Five of Mr Trent's Children have just recovered from typhoid fever.
He was born July 13, 1872 in Meade County, Kentucky the son of Obidiah Trent and Mary Ellen Wathen Trent.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Winters; five sons, James Lacy Trent, Moses Herbert Trent, Alvin Earl Trent, Loran Cecil Trent and Estell Hartman Trent; four daughters, Mary Alliene Trent, Edith Agnes Trent, Sylvia Ada Trent and Mildred Derritt Trent.
Funeral services were held Monday at Weldon Christian Church with burial in Church Cemetery.
