He was born March 5, 1895 the son of James Harlen Trent and Rose Winters Trent.
He was preceded in death by his wife Hallie Bell Jupin Trent in 1956. He is survived by five sons, Dewayne Trent, Route 1, Vine Grove, Larry Trent, Ashland, Kentucky, Milton Trent, Hawaii, Arvell Trent and William Trent of Lansing, Michigan; four sisters, Mrs. Mildred Ballard, Hollywood, Florida, Miss Edith Trent, Mrs. Sylvia Clark and Mrs. Aline Benham, all of Brandenburg, Kentucky; two brothers, Hartman Trent, Atlanta, Georgia, Loren Trent, Brandenburg.
Masonic Services were held in the Chapel of Hager-Wright Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held from the Chapel of Hager-Wright Funeral Home in Brandenburg, Kentucky with the Rev. Calvin Smith officiating.Interment was in Weldon Christian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bobby Lee Jones, James Benham, Bill Jupin, Roy Lee Trent, Jerry Trent and Jerry Ballard.
