John P. Trent, 77 years old, died Sunday, July 22, 1945 at the home of his son Tom Trent in Owensboro, Ky.
He Is survived by three sons, Tom of Owensboro and John and Claude Trent of Brandenburg; three daughters, Mrs. Mabel McKay of Ohio and Mrs. Annie Benham and Mrs. Harvey Wilcox of Brandenburg.
Mr. Trent was a well known and respected citizen of Meade County. He united with the Christian Church at the age of 22, and remained a member until his death.
Funeral services were held at the E. V. Wright Funeral Home Monday afternoon at 1:30 p. m., and at the Bethel Church at 2 p. m., conducted by Rev. C. E. Peters. Burial in church cemetery.
