Henry Davis Chesteen, a retired farmer from Kilmichael, died Tuesday, July 3, 1990 at his residence. The funeral services were held at Lee Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, July 5, 9:30 a.m. with burial in Poplar Creek Nations Cemetery, the Rev. Bob Trotter officiating. Mr. Chesteen was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Chesteen of Lawrence, one daughter, Helen Stevens of Kilmichael, one brother, Bert Chesteen of Oxford; two step-grandchildren, 6 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Lynn Stevens, Johnson Stevens, Forrest McClurg, V. W. Prewett, Jessie Rodgers Stevens, Jr., Gene Smith.
Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
