Wilson Adams was born Apr 30, 1899, in Cynthiana, Harrison County, Kentucky, to parents Dr. James B. Adams (1861-1908), and Elizabeth Durbin (1869-1927), both born in Kentucky. Wilson was the youngest son in a family of four boys. His brothers were: Cleon B. Adams (1891-1965), James D. Adams (1893-1938), Vernon Adams (1896-1977), all born in Harrison County.
Wilson, at the age of 19 years old, was listed as a student on his World War I Draft Registration card in 1918, living with his widowed mother in Cynthiana.
Wilson never married, and on Sep 26, 1921, in Harrison County, Kentucky, he died as a result of being struck by a passenger train. He is buried in Battle Grove Cemetery in Cynthiana with other family members.
