Isome was the son of Thomas Harrison McDaniel and Rebecca Josephine (Smith) Merritt McDaniel.

Isome and Nettie Jenay Clevenger were married in Rocky, Washita County, Oklahoma Territory on January 16, 1905. They had eleven children.

OBITUARY:

ISOME D. McDANIEL

Isome D. McDaniel, 63, a retired concrete contractor died of a heart ailment in St. Anthony's Hospital Friday night.

Ill health the past 10 years forced him to give up contracting which he followed since coming here in 1924 from Washita County. But he went back to work a year ago as an attendant at a filling station at W. Reno and May.

Born in Comanche County, Texas, McDaniel moved to Washita County when a child. He farmed there before moving to Oklahoma City.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Alice; five daughters, Beverly Barbara, home address; Mrs. Geneva Shatswell, 2120 SW 46; Mrs. Mammie Stevenson, Arkansas City, Kan.; Mrs. Vereda Monte and Mrs. Linnie Welch, both of Jones; eight sons, Noble Ray and Thomas Newton, both of the home; Isome D. Jr., and William both of Jones; C.C., route 6, Clyde, Dallas, Truman, Exeter, Calif.; and Orville, Stillwater.

Isome D. McDaniel Retired Farmer, Passes Away
Isome D. McDaniel, who lived near Jones a few years ago. passed away Friday night in St. Anthony hospital of a heart ailment. He was 63.
Services were held Monday in the Assembly of God Church in Luther. Burial was in the Odd Fellows cemetery near Jones. Mr. McDaniel was engaged in farming while living near Jones. He had lived in Capitol Hill for some months.
