In 1899, Eva was born in West Alexandria to Noah Webster Holman and Louisa Ludy. She was the seventh of thirteen children; Minnie, Bertha, Catherine, Myrtle, Elsie, Bessie, Clarence, Joseph, Laura. Irene, Lawrence and Leona. Elsie and Irene passed away shortly after their births.
In 1910, the family was living on Philadelphia avenue in downtown Middletown. The house has long since been demolished. In the preceding decade, Clarence, Joseph and Laura, were born. The Holman sisters, Minnie, Bertha and Catherine, married Earl, Charles and Alfred Miller respectively in 1908 and 1909. The Miller boys were sons of Mathias Miller and Sarah Catherine (Longman) Miller.
In 1920, Noah, Louisa and six of their children, Eva, Clarence, Joseph, Laura, Lawrence and Leona were living in Lewisburg, Ohio, on Chestnut Street, near the intersection of Cumberland.
In 1923, Eva married Homer Wilson Priddy. Homer and his twin, Arthur Priddy, were born in New Manchester, Darke County, Ohio to a farmer and his wife, Darius H. Priddy and Sarah Howell.
Eva and Homer had three daughters:
Myrna Alice Priddy 1924-2016 (Russel L. Reynolds) Vero Beach, FL
Ethel Juanita Priddy 1925-2011 (Robert E. Rench) Gainsville, FL
Opal Marie Priddy 1927-2010 (Arthur E. Bennison) Battle Creek, Michigan

1930:
The family had fallen on hard times Homer apparently had some mental issues and several other health issues. He was a patient at the Dayton State Hospital, which was originally the Southern Ohio Lunatic Asylum.
Eva was living in Germantown on Plum Street. She was the housekeeper for a local merchant and his wife, Robert and Virginia Weaver and their 22 year-old son, Robert V Weaver.
Eva and Homer's three daughters, were placed in the Preble County Children's home on New Paris road in Eaton. This was probably a temporary arrangement until the family got back on its feet.

Eva and her future husband, Alpha Isom Dennis, a WWI veteran from Missouri, had a son, Albert Isaac Dennis. Mr. Dennis was a patient at the National Military Home in Dayton. The National Military Home was originally established to care for Civil war veterans. It is now the Dayton VA Hospital.
December of 1933:
Homer passed away from a variety of illnesses, the primary being chronic heart failure at the Miami Valley Hospital. Homer is buried at the Brown Cemetery in West Manchester, Preble County, Ohio. Many of Homer's family members are also buried at the Brown Cemetery.

December of 1934,
Eva and Alpha Dennis married. Eva and Alpha had second son, Erick A. Dennis in December of 1935. .

December, 1938:
Eva passed away after a tumor in her breast metastasized. She ultimately died of lung cancer.
Alpha took his boys to live with his parents in Erick, Nebraska. Eva and Homer Priddy's girls were left behind in Ohio to be cared for by Eva's family.
Eva's brother, Joseph Holman and his wife, Ella Catherine Purnhagen cared for Myrna. They were living in Dayton, Ohio at the time.
Opal was taken in by Eva's sister, Laura Holman and her husband, Jacob Keihl. They lived in Troy, Ohio
It is not known who fostered Ethyl, however her obituary mentions being taken by a relative in Troy, where many of the Holman siblings were living at the time.

Opal Priddy Bennison is buried at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Coldwater, Branch County, MI (106537183).
Ethel Juanita Rench passed away in Gainesville, FL. Her grave has not been found. She donated her remains to the University of Florida for research.
Myrna Alice Reynolds passed away in Fruitland Park, FL. Her grave hasn't been found.
