Des Moines - Darlene Roquet Johnson Anderson took God's hand up to heaven on Saturday, December 19,2020. She was born to L. Earl Roquet and Verna Wilkinson Roquet on May 11,1921 in Des Moines, Iowa. Darlene was the eldest of 3 children and graduated from East High in 1939. She was on the student council, a member of the Shorthand Speed Society and May Festival.

Darlene married Daryl G Johnson on December 6, 1941, (the day before Pearl Harbor) and she and Daryl lived in Chicago while he received his degree as a Doctor of Optometry. Three daughters were born of this union. Darlene and Daryl were divorced in 1960. She married Dale Anderson and worked for John Ruan in accounting at Ruan Transportation until she retired.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands Daryl and Dale and her brothers, D Dwight Roquet and Dr. Wayne Roquet both of Des Moines. She is survived by her 3 daughters, 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great, great granddaughters. She is loved and will be greatly missed by all of her family. No services are planned.
