RHODA JANE MASTERS
Mrs. Rhoda Jane Masters
, a resident of northeastern Ottawa county for 61 years died Wednesday at her home in the Oak Grove district southeast of Quapaw after a six-year illness. A native of Springfield, Mo., she was 80.

A member of the Spring River Indian Baptist church, Mrs. Masters is survived by two sons Norman Sharp, Pinehurst, Ida., and Raymond Sharp, Baxter Springs Route 2; four daughters, Mrs. Ada Rowden of Galena, Kan., Mrs. Sarah Fulton of Baxter Springs Route 2, Mrs. Ida Cunningham of Wyandotte and Mrs. Bertha Morris of the home on Baxter Springs Route 2; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Spring River church with the Rev. Jack Comer, pastor, in charge. Burial will be in the Ottawa cemetery under direction of the Hunter Funeral home, Picher.
