ORR Graveside services for Kenneth Lee White, 75, will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2007, in Orr Cemetery .

Born on Dec. 14, 1931, in Orr, Okla., to Ralph Clarence White and Lucy Cathrine McCartney White, he died on July 22, 2007, in Healdton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Darlene Fox, on April 16, 2000; his parents; a sister, Billie Anderson; and two brothers, Waymon Vernon White, in 1940, and Jerry D. "Brownie" White.

Raised in Orr, he moved to Bakersfield, Calif., as a young boy in 1942. He moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, Wilson and the Ringling area, working as an ironworker. He was a longtime member of the International Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Ironworkers and built all types of steel structures for several contractors. He was also a very accomplished mechanic able to fix almost anything. He had been a resident of Ringling since the early 1980s.

Survivors include a son, Doug White, and wife, Lynette, Ringling; a daughter, Vicki Cox, and husband, Terry, Ardmore; a son, Kirk White, and wife, Theresa, Ringling; a brother, Harold White, and wife, Kathyleen, Wichita Falls, Texas; seven grandchildren, Michael Coe, Dava Coe, Amanda Miller, Candice Ryan, Kristin Paul, Alan White and Joshua White; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Bearers will be Red McCauley, Jack Tipton, Donnie Hawkins, Dennis Hawkins, Alan White and Joshua White. Honorary bearers are neighbors and friends of the community.
