Mr. Kirk Alan White of Wilson, departed this life on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Lake Country Nursing Center in Marietta at the age of 67 years, 2 months, and 24 days. A Celebration of Life will be 12:00 P.M. Friday, September 29, 2023 at the Burneyville Baptist Church with Pastor Rob Lee officiating. Cremation services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Mr. White was born on July 1, 1956 in Alhambra, CA to the late Mr. Kenneth Lee White and Mrs. Maxine Louise (Sermon) Austin.

Kirk was raised in Wilson and attended Wilson Public Schools. He married the former Miss Tammy Sue King on October 26, 1979. Together they would start their family and have three children, Kristin, Alan, and Josh. He worked in construction as an Iron Worker and was a member of the Iron Workers Union. Kirk later started working in the oilfields doing roustabout work and working independently. He was a talented mechanic. Kirk enjoyed fishing, hunting, drinking coffee, and most of all enjoyed his family and animals.

Kirk is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Vicki Cox, and a nephew Michael Coe.

He survived by his children; Kristin Cain and husband Wes of Burneyville, Alan Lee White and wife Summer of Wilson, and Joshua Kane White of Wilson; grandchildren, Brianna Paul, Logan Paul, Hunter Cain, Zyerrah White, and Hayden Simmons; great grandchildren, Macyn Knox, and Maren Knox; brother, Doug White and wife Lynn of Ringling; nieces, Lacy Cox and husband Matthew and their children Kinlee and Dakota of Wilson; Dava Davis and husband Brady and family of Whitesboro, TX and a host of other family and friends.
