Obituary.
Philander C. Hamblin was born in Columbia, Franklin county, Ohio, May 10, 1816, and died April 8, 1898, aged 81 years, 10 months and 28 days.
Bro. Hamblin was married in Mount Vernon, Knox county, Ohio, to Miss Mary Ann Bowman who survives him. Ten children were born to this union, three of whom have preceeded him to the other world, while seven remain to mourn the loss of a father.
The funeral services were held in the Ringgold chapel April 11, conducted by Rev. G. N. Thompson, assisted by Rev. L. H. Wood.
