ANTRIM, N. H.—

G. J. Brady, 71, former Idaho Falls resident, was killed in a single-car accident near Antrim, N. H. Feb. 15, 1981. He had served as sports editor of The Post-Register when he left to take up residence in Connecticut in 1938.

He was born in Caney, Kan. Jan. 16, 1910 to J. Robb and Francis Murphy Brady and in 1920, when he was 11 years old, they moved to Pocatello. He graduated from Gonzaga High School in Spokane, Wash. And later attended the University of Notre Dame. For a period he returned to Idaho Falls to become associated with the Post-Register, first as a reporter and later as sports editor.

In July of 1932, he married Jacqueline Greer at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Idaho Falls. They moved to a farmstead near Storrs, Conn. In 1938, where he later became an insurance agent for many years.

At one time he and his wife operated a ski lodge near Jackson, N. H. for three years before moving to Florida in 1957. There he qualified as a real estate broker and for five years was involved in the real estate business in Vero Beach, Fla. In 1962 he moved to San Rafael, Calif. He then moved to Antrim, N. H. where he was residing at the time of his death.

His parents, and a sister, Mary Jo Brady, and an aunt, Josephine Murphy, who raised the family following the early death of his parents, preceded him in death.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Rose Anna Keller; and two brothers, James M. Brady and J. Robb Brady, all of Idaho Falls.

The body will be taken to San Rafael, Calif. For services and burial.
