Millard Verrette, 53, Dies on East Syracuse Trolley

Stricken with a heart attack while on the East Syracuse car this morning, Millard Verrette, 53, of 303 Nichols Avenue, Eastwood, died before medical aid could reach him. The Hospital of Good Shepherd ambulance was called, but the man died before it arrived. The morgue was notified and the body was taken there. Death was due to heart trouble. Verrette did not feel well this morning and did not go to work but when he went to the office of Dr. Daniel F. Luby for treatment, he was on his way home when stricken. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alida Hamel Verrette; two daughters, Mrs. William Goff and Mrs. J. T. A’Hearn, and three sons, Emil, Leon and Ernest Verrette. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
