Alfred J. Verrette Funeral Tuesday
A solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated in St. Joseph (French) Church at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday for Alfred J. Verrette, Sr., retired superintendent of Stickley Manufacturing Co. The mass will follow services at 8:45 A.M. in the home. Burial will be in St. Agatha’s Cemetery, Canastota. A life resident of this city, Mr. Verrette lived at 210 Thompson rd. He died early Sunday morning in Crouse-Irving Hospital after a long illness. He retired in 1945 after 45 years of service with the Stickley Company. Mr. Verrette was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph’s Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Agnes D. Verrette; four sons, Alfred J., Jr., Thomas J., Robert J. and Millard J. Verrette; a daughter, Mrs. Howard Dunn, and seven grandchildren.
[NOTE: they had one daughter Agnes, plus 2 sets of twins: Alfred and Thomas was the first set, then Robert and Millard was the second set]
