ALTONAH, Duchesne County - Ilez Edwards Ames, 64, Altonah, died Feb. 13 in a Roosevelt hospital following an illness.

Born Nov. 24, 1907, Ferron, Emery County, to Lewis Edward and Amanda Allred Edwards. Married Clinton R. "Clenty" Ames, July 10, 1935, Manti LDS Temple. Graduate Snow College. School teacher, Huntington, Emery County; Altonah, Altamont, both Duchesne County.

Survivors: husband; sons, daughters, Allen, Mrs. Darrell K. (Sherral) Goodrich, Bountiful; Mrs. Edward (Bonnie Ann) Miller, Richmond, Cache County; Mrs. Charles (Alta) Gibson, Ogden; 23 grandchildren; brothers, sisters, Luther Edwards, Alma Edwards, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Chell Hatton, Kanosh, Millard County; Mrs. Alta Warnick, Ednid Damron, both Hinckley, Millard County.

Funeral Wednesday, 1 p.m., Altamont LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call Olpin Mortuary, Roosevelt, Tuesday, 7-9 p.m., at ward chapel Wednesday one hour prior to services. Burial Altamont Cemetery.
