After Louisa (Lowery) Bozorth's death on July 26, 1893, she was buried in the Barton Cemetery on West Market Street and Clagett Drive in Leitchfield, Grayson County, Kentucky. Francis Marion Bozorth died at the home of his daughter Kate (Bozorth) Johnson in Daviess County on October 19, 1906 and was buried beside his wife in the Barton Cemetery in Leitchfield. His obituary published in the Grayson County "Gazette" follows:

REMAINS BROUGHT HERE FOR BURIAL –
FORMER COUNTY POOR HOUSE KEEPER
F. M. Bozarth, seventy two years of age, an old and highly respected citizen of this county died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Kate Johnson in Davis (sic) county on Oct. 19 (1906-VPB) of kidney disease. The remains were brought here and enterred (sic) in the Barton cemetery on last Saturday morning beside that of the wife who died here ten years ago. The deceased was well known here, having been at one time keeper of the county poor house for four years. He was a brother of Mrs. N. C. Tilford, she now being the only survivor of a family of eighteen children. / Elder J. B. Briney of the Christian church conducted the services at the grave, where a large number of relatives and friends gathered to offer ...(expressions?) of love and respect ....
