Second husband: Earl Elvin Alexander
Daisy E Alexander, 85, 1708 E Markland Ave, died at St Joseph Memorial Hospital at 4 a.m. Saturday following a one year illness.
She was born in Howard County, Aug 10, 1885, the daughter of Jonathan and Sarah (Hancock) Tolle. She married Earl Alexander in 1914 and he died in 1946.
Mrs Alexander had lived all her life in the Kokomo vicinity.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Ray (Zelda) Cunningham of Muncie and Mrs Mae Carr of Kokomo; one sister, Mrs Dollie Stanford of Burbank, Calif.; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Ellers funeral chapel with Kenneth Washburn officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greentown.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday morning.
