Earl E Alexander, 65, died at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at his home, 1712 East Markland avenue, of a cerebral hemorrhage. He had complained of a headache throughout the day, but his condition at no time was regarded as serious.

He was born August 31, 1880, near Alto, and lived in Howard County all his life. His parents were Wilshire and Sarah Alexander.

Mr Alexander, who was known to his friends as "Alex," was employed as a meatcutter at the Standard Food Market, Main Street and Markland avenue. For 21 years he was conductor and brakeman on the interurban line.

Surviving are the widow, Daisy; daughter, Mrs George H Carr, 433 South Armstrong street; two step-children, Mrs Ray Cunningham of Muncie and Clarence Jarvis of Tipton; sister, Mrs Artie Jones of Kokomo; and six grandchildren, one of whom, William Alexander, is in the U S navy.

Mr Alexander's funeral will be held at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the chapel of the Ellers funeral home. Friends may call at the family residence from 10 o'clock Friday morning until 11:30 o'clock Saturday morning when the body will be taken to the funeral home.
