ERIE - Orton A Kinne Jr., 66 died unexpectedly Wednesday while at work on an oil lease four miles northwest of Erie. He had been an oil lease pumper all his adult life. Kinne a native of Erie was born on May 12 1911, a son of Mr and Mrs Orton A Kinne Sr. He and Gladys Moses were married on July 17 1932. She survives at the home here. Among other survivors are one son Jim of Bellerica, Mass, one daughter Mrs Kathryn Klingenberg of Wichita, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one brother Kenneth and two sisters Mrs Nell George and Mrs Ava George all of Erie. Services will be held at 10 am Friday at the Pierce Funeral Home in Erie with the Rev Fred Jordan officiating. Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 pm until 8 pm tonight at the funeral home.
