MRS. CARRIE ALICE BOWMAN died Thursday morning at 12:30 o'clock, at her house in Chewsville, of cancer, aged 57 years, 2 months and 21 days.
She is survived by the following: Daughters, Mrs. Salome Young and Mrs. Ray Gruber, both of Hagerstown; Ruth, Chewsville, and Anna, at home: sons, Samuel C. and Herman D., Chewsville; Glenn, Philadelphia, and Paul, at home; sisters, Mrs. Mollie Sensenbaugh, Edgemont; Mrs. Verda Harbat, Chewsville; Mrs. Etta Davis, Waynesboro; Mrs. Roanne Brandenburg, Wolfsville; brothers, Stanley Pryor, Lantz; Theopolis Pryor, Wolfsville; half-sister, Mrs. Sebal Wolfe, Waynesboro, half-brothers, Earl and Russell, Smithsburg; Jennings, Mt. Zion, and Raymond, Waynesboro.
Funeral services will be held at the Lutheran Church in Wolfsville, Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock.
