NEW HOPE - Mary Susan Early, 100, of New Hope died Saturday morning (July 30, 1983) is Waynesboro Community Hospital.
She was born July 17, 1883 near Waynesboro, a daughter of David Ezra and Sarah Jane (Coyner) Leonard. She was a life member of Bethany Trinity Lutheran Church and New Hope Extension Club for over 50 years.
On Oct 30, 1907, she married Joseph M. Early of New Hope, who died Nov. 23, 1969.
She is survived by one son, Joseph Leonard Early of New Hope; two daughters, Mrs. Hannah Karicofe of Churchville and Mrs. Lois Coyner of Waynesboro; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church near Crimora by Dr. Jon Diefenthaler. Burial will be in the adjacent cemetery.
The body is at Lindsey Weyers Cave Funeral Home.
