WINDSOR Clyde H. Seitz, 90, died Thursday, September 27, 2007, at York Lutheran Home at Sprenkle Drive. He was the husband of Ferne O. (Shenberger) Seitz, to whom he was married 60 years. Funeral tribute services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2007, at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with the Rev. Dr. Glenn M. Dietrich officiating. A viewing will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery with full military rites provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Born December 9, 1916, in Felton, a son of the late Michael E. and Ruth (Lutz) Seitz, he was a self-employed barber in Windsor for 50 years. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of WWII where he served in the European Theatre. He was a member of St. Paul's (Lebanon) Lutheran Church in Felton and attended Grace United Methodist Church. Mr. Seitz was also a member of Windsor Lions Club; Red Lion American Legion, Post 543; Windsor Fish and Game; Laurel Fire Co. in Windsor; and the NRA. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his wife, Mr. Seitz is survived by a sister, Mina A. and husband, Dean Hersey of Felton; two brothers, Carl E. and wife, Marie Seitz, and Rev. Joseph W. and wife, Bonnie Seitz, both of Red Lion; a sister-in-law, Ruth Toomey of Windsor; and a nephew, William and wife, Nancy Toomey of Aurora, Ohio. He was preceded in death by four sisters, M. Evelyn Stein, Ada Crowl, Hilda McCleary, and R. Yetta Grove.
