Married in 1740 to Mehitabel Carver, daughter of Eleazar Carver. She died in 1757.
They were the parents of Oliver (b. 1740-1825), Seth (b. 1741-1775), Caleb (1744-1747) and Joseph (b. 1747-1803).
Married in 1758 to Jael Hayward, widow of Timothy Hayward. At the time of her marriage to Hayward she was the Widow Peterson.
