Ron joined the Air force in November 1965 where he specialized in the installation of inertial navigation equipment on a variety Air Force planes. After he left the Air Force he worked for several telecommunications companies. He spent several years installing the 911 system in Missoula, Montana. Ron remarried Inge White in 1986. He had an opportunity to work for a Saudi Arabian cable company in 1995 where they spent 18 months together. After the communications downturn of the late 1990's, Ron decided to attend vocational school for Camping World in Bowling Green, KY and became a Recreational Vehicle technician. He also became a licensed Insurance Agent, selling insurance policies to RV owners through Camping World. Ron was also able to travel the country to indulge his love of the outdoors, fishing in particular, after his retirement in 2007.
